Who we are
Operation Kid Forward exists to brighten the lives of underprivileged youth by offering transformative travel experiences and essential resources. Our purpose is to empower children to dream bigger and reach their fullest potential, connecting them with new cultures, opportunities, and friendships that broaden their horizons. We strive to enhance their daily living and create lasting memories that inspire a future filled with hope and ambition, ensuring every child has the chance to explore and enjoy the world around them.
Operation Kid Forward was established with one goal in mind – helping our underprivileged youth. The OKF foundation exists to provide for a multitude of needs of our community’s kids, who otherwise may not have the resources or access available to have these experiences.
Where We Began
Nisha Giustino, an Army veteran with a desire to give back to the community, has been actively involved in supporting youth initiatives in the local Savannah community for over a decade. Nisha’s personal commitment began with contributing to Christmas events at women and children shelters, grew into distributing hundreds of back-to-school backpacks, and to initiating the Nine Line Apparel Prom Dress Drive.
Recognizing the tremendous need, Nisha founded Operation Kid Forward in 2021 to increase the positive impact on the lives of children in need.
Today’s Needs
Operation Kid Forward collaborates with various shelters, counselors, youth violence programs, and community resources to advocate for children who lack adequate representation or a voice, aiming to normalize their childhood experiences and foster their growth.
