Who we are
At Operation Kid Forward (OKF), we believe every child deserves the chance to grow, thrive, and simply enjoy being a kid. We work hand-in-hand with shelters, counselors, youth violence prevention programs, and other community organizations to advocate for children who often go unheard or overlooked. Our mission is to help normalize childhood experiences for these young people and provide the support they need to reach their full potential.
Operation Kid Forward was established with one goal in mind – helping our underprivileged youth. The OKF foundation exists to provide for a multitude of needs of our community’s kids, who otherwise may not have the resources or access available to have these experiences.
Where We Began
Although OKF was officially founded in 2021, our roots in youth advocacy run much deeper. Nisha Giustino, an Army veteran with a desire to give back to the community, has been actively involved in supporting youth initiatives in the local Savannah community for over a decade. Nisha’s personal commitment began with contributing to Christmas events at women and children shelters, grew into distributing hundreds of back-to-school backpacks, and to initiating the Nine Line Apparel Prom Dress Drive.
For over a decade, we've been committed to uplifting vulnerable children across Savannah and surrounding communities. Through strong partnerships and a focus on those most in need, we strive to make a lasting, positive impact—knowing we can't help every child, but determined to change the lives of as many as we can.
Today’s Needs
Operation Kid Forward collaborates with various shelters, counselors, youth violence programs, and community resources to advocate for children who lack adequate representation or a voice, aiming to normalize their childhood experiences and foster their growth.
